Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board

Central Rexall Drugs is certified by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board® (PCAB®). PCAB accreditation is a designation earned by only the top pharmacies nationwide and assures patients our organization follows industry-best practices and is in compliance with stringent national standards.
Some accreditation requirements are:
  • Extensive on-site evaluations by third-party surveyors
  • Review of the pharmacy’s program for testing compounded preparations
  • Verification the pharmacy is properly licensed in each state in which it does business
  • An assessment of the pharmacy’s system for assuring and maintaining staff competency
  • Review of records and procedures required to prepare quality compounded medications
  • Verification the pharmacy uses ingredients from FDA registered and or licensed sources
Only when a pharmacy has met PCAB®’s rigorous standards, is accreditation issued.

High Performance Network: UCM™

United Compounding Management Network

Central Rexall Drugs is a member of the United Compounding Management™ High Performance Network (UCM™). UCM is comprised exclusively of compounding pharmacies that are independently certified by United Compounding Management which meet rigorous standards for safety and quality, as well as business and marketing practices. Central is proud to be one of the top compounding pharmacies nationwide to meet UCM’s high standards.
